I still remember buying my first camera. I must have been about 10 years old. At that time the most simple Kodak would cost around 500 SEK, a fortune for someone like me. Still it was a tool that I could use to document what happened in my life. I only used it for taking snapshots and, of course, playing around with pictures and creating funny combinations. Back then it was not about composition, technique or feeling. In fact, it had little to do with photography.
Years later I look back and discover that I have always been a fascinated about pictures. I love looking at photos and imagining the thought “behind” it. Even in the simplest of snapshots you may find a lot of hidden information. A great photo always has a story. There is so much more to it than just the obvious.
Today I am 31 years old, married to my beautiful Mathilda and is in the middle of life and all it has to give. My occupation is Project Manager, but I dedicate much of my spare time to photography. As a photographer I am never satisfied and I always feel like I can improve. There is always something better coming, that is the moments that, when captured, tell you a story and stay for a lifetime. On this site you will find some of my pictures captured along the way. I am at the beginning of a journey – a journey that only ends with my imagination…
